Grape tomato

Grape tomatoes are small in size, averaging 1 to 2 centimeters in diameter and 2 to 5 centimeters in length, and have an elongated, oblong to oval shape. The tomatoes also grow in large bunches of approximately twenty fruits, and the skin is smooth, taut, firm, and glossy, showcasing bright red hues when ripe.

Cherry tomato

Cherry tomatoes are generally much sweeter than large tomatoes. The size and color of cherry tomatoes have a wide range, as there are hundreds of varieties. The perfect cherry tomato will be, first and foremost, in-season. It should be almost firm, thin, and smooth-skinned. The flavor will be a fine balance of sweet and tart.

Roma tomato

Roma tomatoes have an elongated egg-like shape, and they grow to about three inches long. Their bright red, smooth and thick skin houses meaty flesh with few seeds, high sugar and acid levels, and low moisture content compared to other tomato varieties, ideal for cooking down into a tomato sauce or paste. The disease-resistant plants grow to an average of four to six feet, and because this is a determinate plant, the fruits will grow to a set height and ripen about the same time, producing one large crop typically toward the end of the season.

Round tomato

Round tomatoes are large, round red tomatoes usually used for slicing and salads.

Slicing tomatoes are medium to extra large, round, juicy tomatoes, where a slice fits perfectly on a sandwich. Round tomatoes are meaty and dense. They have a classic tomato flavor.

Slicing cucumbers produce the largest fruits with the thickest skins, which gives them longer shelf life and makes them the best choice for shipping.  Harvested at 7” – 8” in length, they have an average number of spines and bumps distributed over the dark-green skin of the fruit.

Green bell pepper

Green bell peppers are the immature fruit of the bell pepper plant.  They’re blocky in shape, with three or four lobes. They have firm, thick walls with small seeds, a hollow interior and a grassy, slightly bitter flavor.
